ACJLASU Chapter Inducts New Members at First Career Summit
By Ofomah Angela and Jenti Alasepelouwa The Association of Campus Journalists, Lagos State University Chapter (ACJ-LASU), inducted new members into its fold during a career summit held on July 26, 2024, at the Faculty of Law Moot Court, Ojo Campus, Lagos. The event, themed "Positioning Campus Journalists for 21st-Century Media," featured experienced speakers from the media industry who shared their knowledge and expertise with attendees. During the panel session, Miss Abdulsemlu Monsuroh, an alumnus and journalist at Cable News, emphasized the importance of developing a personal writing style and tone. She also stressed the need for campus journalists to acquire skills in digital journalism, including audio, photo, and video editing.
