The Lagos State University has again achieved academic recognition globally as 4 professors from the Lagos State University, College of Medicine (LASUCOM) have been selected as one of the World's Top 2% Scientist in an Annual Stanford University Publication.
This achievement was made known via LASUCOM's official Twitter page on Tuesday morning.
According to the Twitter thread, the 4 professors from LASUCOM topped the list of the best scientists in Nigeria and have been rated as part of the World's Top 2% scientists in the Stanford University's Annual Publication.
It read partly, "Four professors from the Lagos State University College of Medicine (LASUCOM) have made the list of top scientists in Nigeria rated among the World's Top 2% Scientists in the annual Stanford University publication."
"The professors are Prof. Abiodun Adewuya (Medicine), Prof. Adeneye Adejuwon A. (Medicine), Prof. Senbanjo I. Odunayo (Pediatrics) and Prof. Ogbera Anthonia (Medicine)."
Meanwhile, the annual Stanford University publication is published annually in order to recognize the most cited scientists for the year. Standard University is one of the world's leading research and teaching institutions and it is ranked as one of the best universities globally.
