LASU Part Time 100 Level Students Praise Management For Hitch Free Exams

Following the ongoing 1st semester examination which began on Monday, October 24, 2022, 100 level students of the School of Part-Time studies have showered praises on the management of the Lagos State University, Ojo Campus.

The students, who are currently in the second week of the examination exercise, in a discussion with the representatives of the Centre for Information, Press And Public Relations (CIPPR) at the CBT centre expressed their views and experiences regarding the examination process so far. According to some of the students, it was seamless and hitch-free.

CIPPR, LASU's official PR agency, in a discussion with Raiza Salako, an 100 level student of Economics department, Faculty of Social Sciences gathered that Computer-Based Exams are preferable. 

In Salako's words, "So far, the examination has been fine. Initially, I was sceptical about computer-based exams, but now, I like them. It has been good. I want to thank the Dean, of Students' Affairs, Professor Tajudeen Olumoko. LASU is great and remains the best."

Another 100 level student, Favour Ochiji, from the Computer Science Department (Faculty of Science) told CIPPR that "the exams are exactly what the lecturers taught us. The lectures did a good job. LASU is good."

Likewise, Victoria Utulu, an 100 level student of Mass Communication (School of Communication) said, "The examination has been good. The questions are from topics we learnt in class. The allocated time was sufficient and the invigilation has been good. Thumbs up to LASU."

Commending the LASU management and teaching staffs, Oluwalanumi Enato, 100 level student of Sociology (Faculty of Social Sciences) said, " The questions are familiar. The examination has been good, but the time was short. I must confess, the teachings and the lecturer have been fine. Thanks to LASU."

Meanwhile, the ongoing examination exercise is scheduled to be concluded in mid-November, 2022.
