Lagos State University To Commence Online Clearance For All admitted Candidates For 2020/2021 Academic Session

All Candidates that have been offered admission into the Lagos State University for the 2020/2021 Academic Session are hereby informed that an Online Admission Clearance Exercise will commence on Monday, 19th July 2021. To do their Clearance, Candidates are required to take the following steps: Visit www.lasu.edu.ng Click "Students Services" Click LACASA (Central Admission Clearance App) Update your profile Upload required documents (O'Level result(s), WAEC/NECO scratch card pin, JAMB Result, and Birth Certificate) Submit completed form. As 12th Governing Council holds inaugural meeting. The selection of the 9th substantive Vice-Chancellor of Lagos State University is the issue on the front burner of the newly inaugurated 12th Governing Council of the Lagos State University, as the highest authority of the institution held its inaugural meeting on Tuesday, 13th July 2021. Even as the Council set out to begin the selection process for the coveted seat, the Chairman of the Council, Sir David Sunmoni, FCA, KJW, has charged members to be fair and firm in the discharge of their mandate. A POTENTIAL 3RD WAVE OF COVID-19 PANDEMIC: MANAGEMENT MANDATES COMPLIANCE WITH PROTOCOLS

Lagos State government over the weekend announced the possibility of a third wave of Covid-19 pandemic in the state. This is as a result of the recent increase in the number of positive cases being reported and increase occupancy rate at the Isolation Centres. This has necessitated the need for proactive measures to mitigate spread of the infection on our campuses. The University Management therefore mandates all members of LASU community to adhere to all the preventive protocols as designed by NCDC to curtail any spread. The measures include; Compulsory & Proper use of facemask in public places Regular hand washing with soap and water or use of alcohol based sanitizer Maintainance of physical distance of 2metres Maintenance of 50% occupancy rate of halls, classrooms, offices, worship centres, etcc Temperature checks at entrances The entrances to the campuses already have water taps for hand washing by all visitors, students inclusive.
