My Movie Experience: Watching Titanic in LASU
By Similoluwa Ifedayo On Tuesday, I had the opportunity to watch the 1997 blockbuster "Titanic" as part of Lagos State University's (LASU) Faculty of Law social week organized by the LASULAW Students' Society. As I walked into the Okunnuga moot court (the makeshift cinema), I was struck by the opulence of the decoration and the comfortable seating. The moot court had been transformed with curtains and lighting, giving it a true theatre vibe. As I settled into my seat, I was offered popcorn and a drink to enjoy during the movie. The sound and picture quality were both outstanding, making it easy to get lost in the romance on screen. The recreation of the Titanic and its magnificent interiors was breathtaking, and the portrayal of the ship's fateful voyage was both harrowing and poignant.
