LASUSU sets IAC ahead of 33rd Elections
By Similoluwa Ifedayo The Lagos State University Students' Union (LASUSU) has formed the 33rd Independent Audit Committee (IAC) on January 18, 2023. This to ensure financial transparency and accountability in the current and incoming student government administration. The committee, led by Comrade Alaka Abdullahi, will be known as the "Diaphanous Team." The primary responsibility of the 33rd LASUSU IAC is to conduct an independent review of the financial records of the current student government and those who are running for office to ensure that there has been no financial misconduct. The committee will also examine the financial records of the student government during the transition period to ensure a smooth transfer of financial responsibility from one administration to the next.
