LASUSU 2022 Inter-varsity Debate: LASU, 3 Others Make It To Finals
By Ajayi Samiat The Lagos State University (LASU), along with 3 other universities has qualified for the final stage of the 5th edition of the Lagos State University Students' Union (LASUSU) 2022 Inter-varsity Debate Competition (LIVDC) which held on Monday, December 5 at the Students' Arcade Hallowed Chambers, Ọjọ campus. Out of 10 universities that were invited for the competition, 9 participated in the debate round while 7 participated in the speech round of the semi-finals. The 4 qualified institutions for the finals namely Lagos State University (LASU), University of Ibadan, Obafemi Awolowo University, and Olabisi Onabanjo University qualified for the finals. ACJ-LASU gathered that the first session of the competition was a debate competition while the second was a speech competition with the topic, "I as the special adviser to the presidential of Nigeria."
