IEC, IPC, IAC Orientates LASUSU Aspirants

By Ameenat Hamzat The Independent Electoral Committee (IEC), Independent Petition Committee (IPC), and the Independent Audit Committee (IAC) conducted an orientation session for the Lagos State University Students' Union Aspirant on Tuesday, July 9, 2024. The session which took place at the Conference Hall 2, Student Arcade was aimed at briefing the aspirants regarding campaign and election guidelines as well as the roles of each electoral body.  The Chairman of the Independent Petition Committee, Olamilekan Bamise, outlined the role of the committee as the body handling post-election complaints and irregularities. By Ewaoluwa Omolade *Following Protest, LASU VC Announces Removal of CBT Fee, Other Newly Introduced Fees* By Ewaoluwa The Lagos State University (LASU) Vice-Chancellor, Professor Ibiyemi Ibilola Olatunji-Bello mni, has announced the removal of the CBT, Forensic, and Counselling fees after a protest by students at the Babatunde Fashola Senate Building on July 8, 2024.
