LASU Google Developer Student Club Holds Third Edition of TECH X
By Israel Akeredolu The Google developer student club of the Lagos State University,LASU, Ojo, held its sessional tech event, LASU TECH X 3.0, at the CBT Centre on the 23rd of June 2024. The edition, which focuses on the illuminating topic of TECH forward; Embarking on a journey of discovery, was honoured and graced by distinct personalities of the tech world. The first guest speaker, Confidence Staveley, the founder and executive director of Cybersafe Foundation, educated the attendees on the importance and ultimate use of cybersecurity in tech. According to her, "cybersecurity is an ever evolving field that helps in protecting your data and also supplying of updates." She further stated that it is essential as a developer to have a good mindset of security.
