Lagos State University is expected to resume academic activities fully as the Non-Academic Staff Union (NASU) and Senior Staff Association of Nigerian Universities(SSANU) suspends strike today, Thursday, 25 February.
The information was revealed to the student populace after an official press statement was released by the university's student union body, through the Public Relations Officer, Adams Zaenab.
The press statement states that the university is expected to resume academic activities fully by Friday, 26 February after the strike has been suspended, further stating that the students are not to resume on campus yet as the university management would meet to discuss and officialy announce the resumption date.
However, students were urged through the official bulletin to disregard any other source of information other than information coming from the office of the public relation officer of the Student Union Governemnt.
