The Lagos State University Student's union,LASUSU Champions League will be back in the campus sports centre in 2021.
It was last held in 2019 as the tournament was put on hold last year due to the suspension of school activities caused by the outbreak of the novel virus, Covid-19.
This development was announced in a press release circulated by the Public Relations Officer of the Students' Union, Yettydlaw.
LASUSU Champions League is a knockout football tournament played by all faculties in the Lagos State University.
This year's edition will be played on the renovated pitch of the sports centre which would be open for general use from rain semester.
Faculties would be required to provide two teams which will represent them in the match.
The University's satelite campuses; College of medicine, School of Agriculture and defending champions, School of Engineering shall also take part in the tournament.
