LASU TO HOLD INAUGURAL LECTURE


Lagos State University ( LASU) will hold its 77th inaugural lecture as follows:





Titled: Gifts Of Nature: the soft underbelly of wellbeing in Society.

Faculty of Social Sciences,
Lagos State University ( LASU).

ELECTION: FACULTY OF LAW





PROF. ANTHONY OLAGUNJU ELECTED DEAN, FACULTY OF LAW





Prof. Anthony Olagunju, Department of International and Islamic Law, Faculty of Law, Lagos State University ( LASU) has been elected as the Dean, Faculty of Law, LASU.





The election is for a period of two (2) years, with effect from Tuesday, 13th April, 2021 to Wednesday, 12th April , 2023.





The Acting Vice Chancellor, Professor Oyedamola Oke has since congratulated him on his election.

The Acting Vice Chancellor, Lagos State University ( LASU), Professor Oyedamola Oke has approved the following appointments:





COORDINATOR, MASTERS OF BUSINESS ADMINISTRATION PROGRAMME, LASU





Prof. Raheem Akewusola, Department of Business Administration, Faculty of Management Sciences, Lagos State University (LASU) as the Coordinator, Masters of Business Administration ( MBA) Programme, LASU.





The appointment took effect from Thursday, 8th April, 2021 to Thursday, 7th April, 2022. The appointment is for one ( 1) year.





DEPUTY DIRECTOR, LASU( JUPEB) FOUNDATION PROGRAMME





Dr. Adeolu Adebayo, Department of Geography and Planning, Faculty of Social Sciences, Lagos State University ( LASU) as the Deputy Director, LASU ( JUPEB) Foundation Programme.





The appointment is for a year and with effect from Tuesday, 1st April, 2021 to Tuesday, 31st March, 2022.

LASU TRAIL BLAZERS SET TO LOCK HORNS WITH UNILAG
-AS IT HOST ZONE C HIFL QUALIFIERS 2021





Lagos State University( LASU) male football team, the Trail Blazers is set to lock horns with University of Lagos in this year's Zone C Higher Institutions Football league( HIFL), which kicks off on Tuesday, 20th April, 2021 at the Sports Centre, Main Campus, Ojo, Lagos. The kick off time is 4.00 p.m.





Zone C comprises of six(6) teams, host, Lagos State University ( LASU), Ladoke Akintola University of Technology ( LAUTECH), Ogbomosho, Oyo State and University of Lagos ( UNILAG) in POT 1.





Pot 2 has Federal University of Technology ( FUTA), Akure ,Ondo, State, Olabisi Onabanjo University( OOU), Ago Iwoye, Ogun State and Afe Babalola University( ABUAD) , Ado- Ekiti, Ekiti State.
