LASUSOC bows to FSS, as Champions league kicks-off

The Lagos State University students union (LASUSU) Champions flagged off today at the Sports centre by 12pm.

The tournament was declared open by the league director, Dynamight.

Below are the results of the fixture
ARTS A (1) VS (0) LAW B

The game commenced by 12:00pm and ended in defeated for the energetic Faculty of Law as the scoreline finished 1-0.
The goal was score by Akerele kayode on the 55th minute.

FSS B (0) VS (0) MASSCOM A

Faculty of Social Sciences played out a goalless draw with the School of Communication as the stalemate was decided with penalties. The Faculty of Social Sciences won by 4 goals to 3.

ARTS B (2) VS (1) SCIENCES A

Faculty of Arts played an entertaining and mesmerizing football against Sciences as the Faculty of Sciences bowed to a two goal defeat to Arts.

The first goal by Art B was scored by Oliver just three minutes into the game while the second goal by Martin was scored 13 minutes later.
Though Science B pushed gingerly for an opening goal, a few gaps appeared at the back and was punished in the second half where the sciences score a consolation goal.

TRANSPORT B (1) VS (0) LAW A

This was the last game played today and School of Transport triumphed over Law A by converting a penalty which was the solitary goal of the game. Transport played a very beautiful game with their counterparts displaying highly enticing specialties but still lost to Transport, as the game ended 1:0

The League kicked kicked off by 12:00pm and faculty of Arts defeated the energetic Faculty of Law as the scoreline finished 1-0, courtesy of a lone second half goal.

The game ended 0-0 and straight to penalties.
FSS won 4-3 on penalty

Faculty of Social Sciences played out a goal less draw with the School of Communications as the entertaining game was decided with penalties. The Faculty of Social Sciences won by 4 goals to 3.

ARTS B (2) VS (1) SCIENCES A

The giant faculty of Arts played an entertaining and mesmerizing football with the Sciences, but the Faculty of Sciences bowed to a 2 goal defeat to Arts. The game ended with Arts wining 2-1.

TRANSPORT B (1) VS (0) LAW A

This was the last game played today and School of Transports came with firepower as they won against faculty of Law by a goal to nil. Transport played a very beautiful game with their counterparts displaying highly enticing specialties but still lost to Transport, as the game ended 1-0.
