The Chairman, National Association of Lagos State Students' Independent Electoral Commission, Nul. Paraiso Ismaila has vowed to conduct free and fair election in the forthcoming NULASS-National election scheduled to hold on Saturday, May 15, 2021.

He said "It is a vow from me to all NULASSITEs to give them a free and fair election where their votes speaks."

Meanwhile, the venue for the election has not been announced because the IEC is yet to get approval from the shortlisted schools.

The chairman said "the venue for the 2021 NULASS national election has not been revealed because the IEC is still awaiting approval from the shortlisted schools we are working on".

"It is a known fact that the venue for the election has to be a school environment and must be central for accessible by all. As soon as we have the final approval, the venue will be communicated to all Nulassites." He continued.

Nul. Ismaila advised the electorates and aspirants to abide by the electoral guidelines and follow protocols.

He said "it is a well known fact that we are all leaders in various spheres. We hereby urge all voters and aspirants to abide by the electoral guidelines and follow the rules.
Of course, there have been and would be utterances that might be capable of igniting conflict and violence during electioneering. However, at a point like this for the growth, recognition and future of the union we beseech all to eliminate the ‘do-or-die mentality,’ which might derail us for the sake of peace, national stability, and deepening recognition in our union both during and after the election."

The chairman concluded by beseeching for support from both the voters and aspirants in various institutions.
