The Oniba of IBA land, His Royal Majesty, Oba Adeshina Sulaimon Ashade has endorsed Babatunde Taiwo popularly known as Babatee for the post of President of National Union of Lagos State Students in the forth coming NULASS-National election.
After confirming Babatee as an indigene of Iba, Oba Adeshina expressed satisfaction in his candidacy. He said "Babatunde is a good boy as he hails from a well known family ( Amele) IBA Town for their cautions, good conduct, and exemplary leadership"
He continued "I give my blessing to him as he is one of the youths who has always stood firm for the progress and development of iba with good behaviour, followership and good leadership qualities among others. I implore all members of National union of Lagos state students to work along with Babatunde and I promise you will never regret voting him as ur next president"
NULASS-LASU President, Comrade Jubril Eleto while commenting on the aspirant said: "Babatee is a cool headed Comrade, who has been in the struggle for years. We can't predict but with the time I have spent with him he is good to go."
He advised Babatee to continue working and he also prayed for God's intervention.
