Goal keeper heroics give Political Education edge over English Education

It was showers of goals, as two LASSED 400L team, (English Education vs Political Science Education) battle under the rain, in what was a fierce game of soccer. Though Political Science Education earn the bragging right, this was due to the heroic feat of their goal keeper, Hontonnu Moses.

The game which was part of the plans of the English Education final year week, tagged Jersey day prompted an invitation from one of the LASSED team, for a friendly match.

However prior to this meeting, the two giants had met at a previous faculty game, with a 3-all draw. But, todays match was not going to end that same, even though a late equaliser had earn the home team a 2-all draw after 90-mins

From the onset, English Giants were on the front foot, dictating the tempo of the game, for the majority of the game, but Pol-Edu, surprisingly went ahead after the break with a two goals lead, through Yusuf, 55th, 62nd minutes respectively. He has being capped many times for the EDUCATION team on different occasions.

Though, English Education came back at the 70 minute halfing the deficit, through Emmanuel, and then a late time hauler by the ironic hero of the match, Hontonnu Mdoses. Which further pushed the game into penalty shoot-out.

After series of misses and misfiring from both teams penalty takers, Political Science education goal keeper, was the hero of the day, as he saved three spot kicks and went ahead to score the winning goal for the team.

The spectators which was dominantly, students from English never expected what they saw, but in the spirit of sportmanship, still gave credit for the deserving team of the day.

The Pol team had lined up in a 4-2-3-1 formation, while English Education had used the dynamic 4-3-3 formation, but at the end of the day, the better team had won and earned a bragging right for the hostorical moment.
