The Lagos State University has reinstated its discontinued Part-time Degree for suitable candidates in the 2021/2022 academic session.
The Lagos State University Consult is now accepting applications from prospective candidates for the Programme.
The Part-time Degree was suspended in 2011 by the then governor of Lagos State, Babatunde Raji Fashola. In 2012, the National Universities Commission (NUC) clarified that the Part-time Degree Programme was not abolished but suspended for a while to conduct forensic audit in institutions.
The newly reinstated programme has an age limit of 18 years. It offers 16 programmes with an application fee of 10,000 to be paid within six weeks.
Some of the available programmes are: Accounting, Agricultural Science, Business Administration, Computer Science, Economics, English, History and International Studies, Industrial Relations and Personnel Management, Insurance, Mass Communication, Peace Studies Philosophy, Physics, Political Science Psychology and Sociology.
