CJID Resumes 4 Days Training For Students Journalist

CJID, Center For Journalism Innovation And Development continues its 4 days training for Campus Journalist on Thursday, 24  of February 2022 at the Lagos State University Student Arcade Building ,The training consists of Members of ACJ LASU, NANCE and students from different Universities.

Mr Deji Adekunle holds the first round of the training themed Media Literacy

Security,control and confidence"

In an attempt to explain the essence of Media literacy and source ,Mr Deji gave  different roles for sourcing for a news story

 Anonymity must be justified 

 Multiple sources are better than single news sources in quote never Write a story with a single source 

An authoritative source is better than random sources. An authoritative source is not a source of authority  but a source who is  best suitable to answer the question on ground.

Independent sources is better than self interested sources

Verifiable sources are better than assertive sources,He explains.

 

Femke Vari Zeiji holds a practical session amongst the student Journalists whereby  groups were assigned and Student journalists were given the opportunity to practice and experience how to gather a news story.
