LASU Hall of Fame : Meet BoluwatifeCarry, a Coat of Many Colours

By Dauda Mistura

Boluwatife Kolawole, popularly known as BoluwatifeCarry, is LASU’s foremost compere, actor, content creator, and writer.

He started building his skills right from his formative years. Even though they were unpublished, Boluwatifecarry completed his first literary works in primary four. Then, during his secondary school days, he was opportune to hone these skills, where his foundation in compering and public speaking was laid.

Among the several stage performances done by him, Boluwatifecarry's biggest was Listen 2021, which had over 3,000 people in attendance. He is ambitious and goal-driven, and his ability to perform his skills exceptionally drives his determination to succeed and breakthrough in any of his professions.
Fortunately, for him, people have proved to be his greatest resources. His cordial relationship with people has served him in a lot of ways. He gets encouragement, recommendation, inspiration, and referrals from people, which has built him up to become the person he is today.

Furthermore, Boluwatifecarry is passionate about filmmaking, as he once said, ‘I’m happiest when I am in front of the camera, spitting lines, and blasting expressions. If I had my own money, I would have shot my blockbuster already." According to him, the only constraint between him and his passion is time and money being a law student takes away 60% of his time.

Again, for Boluwatifecarry, music, and lecturing are his other areas of interest. Though music didn't pan out for him, he is pretty successful in teaching as he teaches literature in secondary school and communication skills for ICAN candidates.

Above all, Boluwatife is a man of big dreams, and becoming Nigeria’s president someday is on top of his dream list. He believes no goal is unachievable, as he said, “Some dreams make the dreamer appear crazy, but every dream is achievable.”

Notably, Boluwatifecarry, who was listed among the Top 100 reputable lasuites, is also a recipient of the LASUDS member of the year award 19/20.
