This development was made known in a press statement released and signed on Friday by the Union's Speaker and Clerk, Hon. Adenle Abdulsabur Adekunle; Hon. Paramole Toyyibat Omobola respectively.

According to the statement made available to ACJ-LASU, it was gathered that the Comr. Wasiu Sunday aka Sudan of Lagos was suspended based on a series of events that constituted the final decision of the NULASS-LASU SPC.

The statement read in parts, "Nul. But, to the amazement of the parliament, Comr. Wasiu, having received the summon letter displayed an unruly behaviour as he was present at the sitting. Though, he comported himself, the House tasked him to follow a list provisions with a deadline given to fulfill these demands.

Unfortunately, he disregarded these provisions and failed to meet up with the deadline.

Again, the statement disclosed that Comr. Wasiu Sunday with his executives failed to appear before the SPC for the Union's budget presentation on the 25th of August, 2022.

It added, "All these with several other reasons which cannot be publicized are what was put into consideration before his suspension was effected.

After series of deliberations on the floor of the house, a motion of suspension for Nul. Commr Wasiu Sudan Omobolaji was raised and passed.
