The management of Lagos State University, LASU has released procedural steps for students intending to occupy the newly-opened female hostel located at the institution's Main Campus, Ojo.
The university management which pegged the fee for the hostel at the sum of fifty thousand naira [N50,000], directed prospective students to visit the Students' Affairs Division for the initial consultation.
As contained in a statement released on Thursday night by the university's Information Centre, students, who have made payment are charged to proceed to the Bursary Office at Block Two (2) for the issuance of receipt.
ACJ-LASU understands that this development emerged following the approval of the university's Vice Chancellor, Prof. Ibiyemi Olatunji-Bello, on the resumption of operations at the female hostel.
The statement fully read: “Sequel to the publication made in the Official Bulletin referenced LASU/CIPPR/2252 dated Monday, 28th December 2022, on the Vice Chancellor, Lagos State University, Prof. Ibiyemi Olatunji-Bello, mni's approval on the resumption of operations at the female hostel, main campus, Ojo, Lagos, the students who are interested in occupying the Hostel are requested to visit the Students' Affairs Division and subsequently pay the sum of Fifty Thousand Naira [N 50,000] hostel fees into the account below:

IV. Medical certificate of fitness from LASU Health Centre
