LASU DICT Gives Deadline for 2021/2022 Session Course Registration, Tuition Fees Payment; Gives A 5k Fee For Late Registration, Payment

As the new year begins, the Lagos State University Directorate of Information and Communication Technology (LASU-DICT) has given a deadline for all undergraduate full-time students to pay their tuition fees and register 2nd semester courses for the 2021/2022 academic session.

The DICT, along with new development has said that defaulting students who failed to pay and/or register before the 13th of January, 2023, will have no choice but to pay a late registration fee of Five Thousand Naira (5,000) from January 16, 2023 to January 20, 2023.

This new development was made known in a press statement signed by the DICT Director, Professor Oluwatoyin Enikuomehin, FLCS and released by the Centre for Information Press and Public Relations (CIPPR) on 1st January, 2023.

The statement read partly, "DICT wishes all students a Happy New Year As the period for  the registration of the Second courses  is fast approaching for the Full-Time undergraduate Students. Those who are yet to pay and register  are, therefore, enjoined to complete the following on or before *Friday 13th January, 2023"

i. Payment of outstanding 30% and 50% school fees for the Stream 1 and Stream 2 respectively

ii. Completion of online courses registration

iii. Completion of Courses Operations (Add or Delete of courses)

iv. Printing of Course Registration Form/Exams Slip

v. Endorsement of Registration Form/Exams Slip by the HOD."

In addition, it was explained in details that for the late registration payment is for two categories.

It reads, "All students that have paid 100% school fees but failed to register online on or before 13th January, 2023. Students in this category shall pay the late registration fee before they could be allowed to register."

"All students that have not paid 100% school fees till midnight of 13th January, 2023. Students in this category shall pay both their school fees and late registration fees before they could be allowed to register."
