During the media chat with student journalists, the Lagos State University (LASU) management expressed its commitment to addressing the concerns raised by students regarding the effectiveness of the Entrepreneurship programs offered at the university.

The Vice Chancellor of LASU, Professor Ibiyemi Olatuni Bello, mni, hosted the media chat on Tuesday, October 3, 2023, with the aim of gathering direct feedback from students and addressing any issues they might be facing.

During the chat, student journalists raised several concerns, including a shortage of Entrepreneurship facilitators, inadequate lecture halls, and a lack of necessary equipment for the smooth operation of the program. The Director of Entrepreneurship, Dr. Sanni, acknowledged these issues and assured the students that efforts were being made to address them.

"We are preparing a proposal to be submitted to the management, which will reach the Vice Chancellor before the end of this week. We are exploring the possibility of collaborating with the university bakery, LASU ICT, and LASU press, so that students can utilize their facilities and equipment. Additionally, we have already received some equipment from the university management, and these resources are currently being put to use. We kindly request the students' patience as we work towards resolving these issues as soon as possible," Dr. Sanni stated.

Regarding the previous session's Entrepreneurship results, Dr. Sanni explained that the problems arose after the results had already been uploaded. However, he assured students that the Director of the Information and Communication Technology Centre, Dr. Enikuomehin, had confirmed that a correction portal would be opened by Saturday. This portal would allow students with genuine issues to have their concerns addressed, and the corrected results would be uploaded accordingly.
