Caroline Initiative a Non-Governmental Organisation founded by Quadri Adejumo, an alumnus of Lagos State University, held a pad a girl outreach at Petroleum Pipeline Limited (PPL) of Ojo local government area, Lagos.

The initiative which was established with the aim of creating a world where every child can reach their full potential held the outreach at Dynamos College, PPL as a way to support the well-being of the girl child.

"This is not our first, and surely, won't be the last. We've enacted projects to improve the lives of children and were committed to do more," Mr. Adejumo noted in a press statement.

Students of the college were given sanitary pads to last for a while and were also given educational materials like notebooks and pens to help them academically. Also, they were empowered with interactive sessions where they received education on menstrual health and hygiene from health experts who addressed concerns to ensure that the girls understood how to effectively manage their menstrual health.

According to Mr. Adejumo, the outreach was not only to provide Menstrual supplies but also a safe environment where the girl child can thrive academically and personally because "no girl deserves to miss schooling due to lack of menstrual hygiene products".
