The event, themed "Positioning Campus Journalists for 21st-Century Media," featured experienced speakers from the media industry who shared their knowledge and expertise with attendees. During the panel session, Miss Abdulsemlu Monsuroh, an alumnus and journalist at Cable News, emphasized the importance of developing a personal writing style and tone. Keynote speaker Emmanuel Adegbenro, representing Mrs. Paul-Ottu, Head of Program for Yellow Cowries, emphasized that financial well-being is more important than riches. He stressed that success requires effort and planning, not just luck, and encouraged students to set their priorities right. This was disclosed in the early hours of Tuesday, 30th of July, 2024 by the 35th LASUSU Independent Electoral Comittee.  This development is coming barely a few hours after all twenty-six Ojo Campus candidates presented their manifestos on Monday, July 29 2024, at the student arcade, after their screening days earlier. The event which was hosted by the LASUSU IEC, the integritas team, sought to introduce the candidates to the student populace and have the students listen to their vision and mission for the next academic session.
