Obafemi Omokungbe, they were nine delegates, assumed students representatives, in an environment where Student Unionism isn't allowed, where the thriving of students mouthpiece and representation has being disbanded, yet some set went there to present an award, with the tag, “UNANIMOUSLY” selected. Well, like all facet of Nigeria system, everything seems rotten from within, Now NANS also is part of it, now do you still wonder why the recently suspended strike lasted a newborn baby, and many future are also dwindled along the line. Kareem Itunu Azeez Lagos State Governor, Mr Babajide Sanwo Olu, today, 17th at the 24th Lagos State University convocation donated a personal sum of Five Million Naira (#5, 000, 000) to Dimeji Sotunde, the best graduating student as well as Aanu Olabanjo the best graduating student of the masters' era, with a record-breaking CGPA of 5.0. The announcement was made at the Lagos state house in Marina, where he is self-isolating for the COVID-19 recuperation process.  Mr Sanwo Olu also assured the university of getting to the process of being the best in the whole of the country, while also donating a piece of land to the university for their partnership with the Cornell group. The 2020 graduate of Mass communication at Lagos State University who won the 2019 Mammal Marshall Scholarship for Women in Journalism and a proud volunteer was shortlisted as one of the 30-man finalist of Best Campus Journalists for Campus Journalism Awards 2020.
