   The National Union of Lagos State Students (LASU Chapter) Student Parliamentary Council has indefinitely suspended, the Student Executive Council (SEC) President of the Union, Comr. Wasiu Sunday Omobolaji (Sudan of Lagos) over unconstitutional behaviour, among other allegations. NULASS-LASU SPC with immediate effect assigned, in Comr. Wasiu Sunday's place, the SEC Vice President (Ojo Campus) as the Acting President of the Union until further notice.  This development was made known in a press statement released and signed on Friday by the Union's Speaker and Clerk, Hon. Adenle Abdulsabur Adekunle; Hon. Paramole Toyyibat Omobola respectively. According to the statement made available to ACJ-LASU, it was gathered that the Comr. This 4th edition of the Word War event was tagged, "Politics and The Youths: The Propellants and the Drawbacks."  The popular speaking competition, an initiative of the LASU Debate Society (LSUDS), the university's public speaking community comprises of 8 faculties, 3 schools, 2 colleges, and 26 representatives from Ojo, Ikeja and Epe campus. A 200 level student of the Faculty of Law, Lagos State University (LASU) identified as Togbola Elizabeth has been reportedly killed by a yet to be identified reckless Lagos driver. According to reports gathered by ACJ-LASU, the driver who is currently on the run from the law, crushed the lady along the LASU-Ipaye Road and ran away. The body of late Togbola Elizabeth was found by the roadside on Tuesday morning.  Sources disclosed that the lady was allegedly returning from her boyfriend’s apartment after they had an argument that led to her being sent out of the latter's apartment. Allegedly, sources revealed that late Togbola Elizabeth was on her way to her hostel when she was hit by the reckless driver, who left her unattended to and led to her eventual death. By Damilare Adeleye The Lagos State University Students Union- Independent Electoral Committee has released the substantive results of the newly elected LASUSU executives.  The election exercise which was declared by the Chief electoral chairman of the Electoral Committee as free and fair, was conducted yesterday across the various faculties in in the three major campuses of LASU.  According to the result which was obtained by ACJ-LASU correspondent to earlier today, confirmed Adelankun Adeoye as the Elected LASUSU President. It was gathered that Adeoye, the 28th President of Faculty of Arts Students Association, defeated all his three opponents with a total votes of 2208.  Meanwhile, Oresanya Zakariaya popularly known as E. According to the facts and reports gathered by the reporter, the Claimant: Ogunkanmi Adefolarin Jacob popularly known as J4, who was contesting for the post of the President of the Association (COSA) was disqualified for not meeting the requirement for the post he is contesting for.
